LET THE PROPHETS SPEAK
Prophet is a man or woman of God whom Christ has given the ascension gift of a prophet. (Eph 4:11, I Cor 12:28 /
I Cor 14:29 / Acts 11:27 / 13:1)
Prophet is the Hebrew word “nabi” (nah-vee); Strongs #5030; meaning one who proclaims or tells a message at the direction of another (usually the Lord God). Navi occurs more than 300 times in the O.T. Several times the word is in the feminine form, “nebiyah” and is translated “prophetess.” Prophets communicate the heart, will, and mind of God to mankind.
Prophet is the Greek Word “prophetes” (prof-ay-tace) meaning a foreteller, an inspired speaker, a proclaimer of a divine message, denoted among the Greeks as an interpreter of the oracles of God. In the Septuagint it is translated “ROEH” a seer – indicating that a prophet was one who had immediate intimacy with God (I San 9:9).
To whom much is given, much is required (Luke 12:48). Jesus has a special love and dedication to those whom He has called to represent Him. There is an investment in them. He gives us His own nature, grace, gifts, and ministry. James 3:1 declares strict judgment on those who are called to this realm of ministry.
Prophets speak directly for God. In the same manner, much is required of them in obedience, integrity, righteousness and holiness – Christ likeness in all areas of life.
The devil hates God’s prophets. He has developed a whole arsenal of weapons of destruction to use against them (i.e. “I only am left syndrome;” rejection; discouragement; family; character flaws; money, people, etc.)
Prophets must maintain their prophetic ministry in power and purity until they reach their predestined purpose: to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, the Prophet of prophets (Rom 8:29). Jesus is the fullness of all five-fold ministries in one Body (Col 2:9). He is the perfect pattern for all ministers. So LET THE PROPHETS SPEAK!

The Lord spoke to me in September 2017 and He said, “this year 5778 (2018) will be a year of great expectation and expansion. It is time to enlarge your territory. Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes (Isaiah 54:2).
